What To Do

Walks near the cottage

Below are a sample of walks nearby and further afield accessible from the holiday cottage, and the walk distance.

Nature spotters will love the waymarked trails along the Coy Burn 1.8 miles circuit; keep an eye open here for buzzards, herons and kingfishers.

For grand views, take a gentle climb up "Pudding Hill", Ballater. We also recommend a spectacular one hour Linn of Dee walk
